Possible Hack During GvG?
Ok, last night we were doing a GvG against a guild, it was about 15 mins in. We attempted to Gank, they did the same. There Guild lord was at 1/2 health, out Guild Lord was at 3/4 Health. Just then out Guild Lord dies INSTANTLY! And the odd thing is, that they were just a balenced team, no spikes, no nothing. They even said GG before the guild lord died. It just annoyed the crap out of me so I asked them what they did, they suck we suck and other cruel words that will not be told. I asked another dude from the GvG what they did. He said it was a new Elite Skill called Guild Death, which I know isnt true because ANET would never make such a thing. If you can answer some of these question for me, please and thank you.

It's technically impossible to write a hack for Guild Wars. Have a nice day.

Umm, the way the Guild Lord works that can't actualy happen, he has 5 constant health regen(10 health per second) and at 15 minutes(14:39 to be exact) he can take only 250 damage per second, any extra life lost(not just damage) will be healed. The guild lord has 2400 health.
Any decent balanced team can spike. It's just that it won't work against a guild lord.
Sorry, but just due to the mechanics of it all, you're either exaggerating, or weren't watching your Guild Lord's health very closely. The absolute fastest you could possibly kill a Guild Lord after 14:39 on the timer is 7.68 seconds, this is assuming you can deal 250 damage or more per second constantly, have 5 health degeneration on the GL at all times, and have inflicted a deep wound.

A barrage spike with all 5:1 vampiric, and a necro doing life siphon, and a warrior bleeding him and one of the ranger spikers doing posion will kill the GL rather fast, but not instantly. I 100% agree with the above post... As I know this method works quite well... throw a Mes doing phantasm on him too and he is toast really quick. thats prob what happened....

This is, I thought, a pretty well known bug. The health of the Guild lord as shown in his health bar bears, on occasion, very little relation to his actual state of health. most often, this bug will show itself with your Lord on quite high health when he is in fact nearly dead, resulting in the scenario you describe. The attacking team will see his health going down in their target bars normally, but on your party bar it can sometimes be really screwy.

Yes, Patrograd is correct. This bug not only affects the Guild Lord but other party members as well.

Indeed. It seems that if you are outside of radar range, health bars can lag. This means a team mate who is fine may appear to be degenning to death, or a player who appears to be fine may suddenly drop like a stone.
